Everything About Anything

Quite often I have to remind people I work with that "I don't know" is a perfectly acceptable answer to any question. My response will always be, "No problem, can you find out please?" I would much rather wait for an answer than have someone reply with assuredness when they are in fact only 95% sure. I make decisions based on those answers--decisions that directly impact safety, productivity, quality, and performance. Nobody knows EVERYTHING about anything. If you think you do, you are irresponsible and potentially dangerous.
