Shut up and do your job

Trump. I've never seen anyone so successful and so influential have so little emotional control and spend so much effort to undermine his own credibility. (except for maybe a Kennedy or two) Granted, the media hasn't been this hell-bent on a witch hunt since Osama Bin Laden. Even with Osama, they had a smidgen of reservation because there was a religious aspect to that situation. In regards to Trump however, the media will grasp at the silliest, most inconsequential straw to fuel their juggernaut. But, the single biggest contributor to the media's fire is the fuel that Trump himself spews from his reactionary and inflammatory mouth. Only a fraction of the media's ire has been over what Trump has actually done, but largely over the endless string of dip-shittery that he can't seem to prevent from escaping his duck lips. Trump epitomizes the cliche of a dumb smart person. Contrary to what the leftist propaganda would have one believe, he is not stupid nor do I question his intent to strengthen the country. But, regardless of the efficacy of his ideology or agreement with his tenets, his Twittering detritus and inability to quit digging when any hole begins forming, will be his undoing--more so than any tangible policy or plan he would ever hope to implement. If Trump were just an average joe with a mundane occupation, someone would surely tell him to shut the hell up and just do your job. If his term of service plummets into a fiery nose-dive, it will largely be because his emotional and ill-conceived reactions slammed the proverbial pedal to the metal in true Thelma & Louise fashion when any obstacle arose on the horizon. Good intentions or not, viable policy or not, acceptable ideology or not, real world manifestation of anything productive is wholly prevented when one's time and energy is spent evading their own emotionally planted land-mines.
