So the University of Colorado Boulder has dedicated their Spectrum dormitory for "LGBTQIA-identified students and their allies". Now their Buchanan dorms will be converted to host "black-identified students and their allies". Their proclaimed intent is to "build support communities". I recall several history lessons teaching us that segregation, even when advertised as voluntary, was not a particularly good idea. I'm sure the university feels that this segregation is somehow completely different, but color me skeptical. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck...
