PC bullshit #129: Yesterday ESPN announced they were removing Asian-American sports announcer, Robert Lee, from working the season opener of the University of Virgina football game...because of his name. ESPN played the "for his safety" card and says that Lee consented to the reassignment. (No comment as yet from Lee)
What torques me off more than this poor guy being manipulated, through no fault or action of his own, is that this liberal upheaval over political correctness and the resulting violence is impacting innocent Joe Citizen's life and inducing fear for his safety.
It's not "just" a statue, or "just" a street name. There are consequences to self-righteous crusading. The implications of liberal intolerance is no less a cancer than conservative racial intolerance.
