The Eclipse Delusion

There is NO eclipse coming! Scientists have been wrong before, don't trust them. It's a conspiracy created by the travel industry. A scientific sounding website "proved" the eclipse is a myth. An old book says mid-day darkness is divine intervention. A celebrity stated eclipses are hoaxes. History documents hundreds of thousands of days passing without some ridiculous eclipse notion. How much more proof do you need? (These reasonings seem to work for the anti-vaxxers, flat earthers, creationists, climate change deniers, and GMO scaremongers.)
