The choices you make

Do what you feel is right. But, as with all choices you make, be prepared to accept the consequences of those choices, especially if they directly violate the laws or policies in which you live and work. These workers were fired for abandoning their job responsibilities to support "A Day Without Immigrants". In an almost unusual twist however, they seem to accept the repercussions of their actions without bluster. For that, I can't help but say, "Good for you, sticking to your values." Do I agree with their protest? Nope, but that doesn't matter. Should they have been fired? Absolutely, they violated their employer's established (and accepted) policy. Were they "right" in their actions? That's not for me to judge.
