Fart-fest

So ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN all refuse to run a public relations/campaign advertisement commissioned by Trump.  This advertisement is not sexual in nature, is not racial, does not slander any person nor organization, is non-threatening, and is surprisingly tame and positive compared to the campaign ads of last year.  Now, as to its accuracy, there are parts that strike me as very debatable and rather disingenuous...but MUCH LESS so than the perfectly acceptable ads from both parties last summer.  The media's gripe?  Their demonstrated bias is pointed out in a 2-second portion that shows a background graphic banner stating "fake news".  First, these media outlets have every right to dictate what they choose to broadcast, I do not begrudge them that.  What I take issue with is their claim of impartiality and their "commitment to be a platform for all viewpoints" that they all professed in the past.  Apparently, that doesn't apply if they are on the receiving end of even subtle criticism.  Secondly, as I have mentioned before, Trump pulled his idiotic stunt of previously, not just criticizing the media, but derogatorily lambasting them.  What on earth should he expect when he knowingly pisses off a virtual empire with that much influence?  Anyway, in my opinion, both the media and Trump are being vindictive whiners and they should all be locked in a room, fed copious amounts of baked beans, yogurt, and rancid fish, then left to stew in their own fragrant juices.
