Don't know

What I've seen from sifting through the latest news: Trump and Putin had a closed-door meeting...scheduled for 35 minutes, lasted 2+ hours. The only others present were US Sec. of State Tillerson and Russian Foreign Sec. Lavrov. Neither Trump nor Putin have said anything substantial about the meeting (yet). Tillerson says Trump was tough and stood up to Putin. Lavrov says Putin pressured Trump to concessions. That's all we know. Neither Secretary is more trustworthy than the other as far as we know. The liberals have chosen to believe the Russian Lavrov to further their Trump-bashing agenda. The conservatives have chosen to believe the American Tillerson to further their Trump-promoting agenda. Which Secretary is telling the truth? Unless you were there or you personally know either gentlemen, choosing one over the other would be ignorant and presumptive. Both Secretaries' testimonies were spun to portray their leader in a positive light. Suck it up buttercup. The fact is we still don't know. People don't like not knowing, so they will cherry-pick the accounts they agree with or which endorses their cause. It's no sin to admit you don't know. There's no shame in reserving an opinion when you cannot know the facts.
