This is going to get expensive. In the last week I've heard prominent liberals stating they are "offended by, and call for the removal or change of, statues, street names, public properties, and geographic locations that bear the name or image of any person who advocated slavery."
These are just the Presidents who, not only advocated slavery, but actually owned slaves: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, James Monroe, Andrew Jackson, Martin Van Buren, William Harrison, John Tyler, James Polk, Zachary Taylor, Andrew Johnson, Ulysses Grant.
It will take a decade and a huge chunk of taxpayer funding to purge every occurrence in society where these names are glorified in some fashion. But, at least the liberals won't be "offended" any more...right? RIGHT?
(I'm really going to miss the Washington Monument, the $20 dollar bill, and even good old Polk High School.)
