Super Bowl 2017

My overall impressions of the Super Bowl:
Pre-game singing of "America The Beautiful": Worst rendition I've ever heard. It was terrible.
Pre-game singing of the "National Anthem": I've never seen the hick guy who sang it before, but he did a pretty good job.
Pre-game coin toss: Only a couple days after BOTH George and Barbara Bush had been hospitalized, their participation was inspiring.
First half of the game: Atlanta played like most of the Patriot-haters hoped, tight and inspired.
Half-Time show: I'm not a Gaga fan, but the production was excellent and she gave a great performance, even switching to a live microphone for the 2nd portion of her show.
Second half of the game: I'm not a Patriots fan but...damn! They earned their win by tooth, nail, and talent.
Overall event: A very entertaining game. A patriotic production without digressing into Hollywood's recent self-righteous political agenda stumping. (Thank you FOX) The commercials were 'ok' but none of them struck me as worthy of previous Super Bowl commercials that left marks in pop culture. I'm still not in favor of the NFL's overtime rules that can deny one team from even attempting an overtime score. Parading the trophy through a sea of players all kissing the damn thing made me wonder, "what if the first kisser had herpes?" Last but not least, the Falcons cheerleaders are still hotter than the Patriots squad.
